Women on the Frontline of Ecological Crisis: FAMM Fest Presented Voices, Arts, and Resistances
To commemorate the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (16 HAKTP) campaign, FAMM Indonesia together with Kaoem Telapak held an event titled “FAMM Fest: Uniting Voice, Art, and Sense” in Ismail Marzuki Park on 10 Desember 2025 by presenting artists and intersectional issues across multiple topics.
The theme this year was “Women Surpassing the Limit for Freedom and Democracy” in response to the nation’s grand ambition to scrape every bit of natural resource without putting much thought into the impacts for the living beings, including the Indigenous Women and women living near the nature who frequently suffer from gender-based violences (GBVs) due to their disappearing nature for the sake of the nation’s development.
