Strengthening Commodity Traceability in the Face of EUDR, Kaoem Telapak Launches Monitoring Platform
Kaoem Telapak has unveiled the Ground-truthed.id (GTID), a monitoring platform developed in Android and website base, at a National Workshop in Indonesia themed Traceability in EUDR Implementation.
The initiative aims to enhance the nation’s compliance with the European Union’s Deforestation-free Regulation, focusing on commodity traceability.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Arif Havas Oegroseno, underscored the need for a thorough examination of EUDR’s complexities. Indonesia faces hurdles such as data gaps and farmer preparedness. To address these problems, the government is crafting a National Dashboard for seamless traceability data integration. GTID is poised to bolster environmental advocacy and promote greater transparency and accountability.
