Indonesian Translation of the Adopted EUDR Text
In 2021, the European Union tried to take decisive steps to counter deforestation and environmental degradation by introducing the European Union Due Diligence Regulation proposal, which was later shortened to the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
Broadly speaking, this regulation requires companies to conduct due diligence to ensure that the commodities being traded are not associated with deforestation activities. Commodities monitored under this proposal include rubber, soy, palm oil, cattle, timber and coffee.
