Agus Sumantri

Agus Sumantri was a Kaoem Telapak member in Lampung. Nicknamed Agus, he was the Head of Kontak Tani dan Nelayan Andalan (KTNA) in Central Lampung.

Together with the farmers, Agus cultivated non-wooden commodities like the granule palm sugar, palm sugar, and Pinang Coffee that were the pride of Pekandangan Village, his own birthplace.

Agus and his local farmers group competed with their local products in a number of Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) competitions. They won the Central Lampung Regency SMEs competition in 2022.

Agus passed away on July 29, 2024.
