Muhammad Zainuri Hasyim, also known as Zain, is a Kaoem Telapak member in Bogor, West Java. He was a former President of Kaoem Telapak in 2016 and is now part of the organization’s Advisors.

Zain observes issues related to forest and supporting certifications, and sustainable natural resources management among the local community through a number of organizations like Peat & Mangrove Restoration Agency, Multi-Stakeholders Forestry Programme, and Mitra Insani Foundation. As of now, he is actively involved with Rainforest Alliance.

Zain hopes that the local community and Indigenous Peoples may actively manage their natural resources sustainably and reap the benefits from it.
