Annas Radin Syarif, affectionately known as Annas, is a member of Kaoem Telapak in West Java with a long-standing dedication to advocating for the environment and the rights of Indigenous Peoples. His journey began with a Komodo conservation study alongside LAWALATA-IPB in 2003, which later expanded to the regional level as a climate change monitoring coordinator at AIPP and a researcher on Indigenous Peoples’ rights and REDD in 2010.

Annas plays a crucial institutional role. He previously served as the Verification Deputy at BRWA and has held various strategic positions within the National Board of AMAN, including leading the AMANkanCovid19 emergency response team. He has also contributed through the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) and the National Education Standards Agency (BNSP) as an expert in the revitalization of customary villages and special education services for Indigenous Peoples.

Since 2021, Annas has served as the Deputy III to the Secretary-General of AMAN for Economic Affairs, continually reaffirming his commitment to the comprehensive empowerment of Indigenous Peoples in Indonesia.
