Ahmad SJA, also called Gus Among, is a member of Kaoem Telapak in East Kalimantan. He works for a number of sectors related to the environment and Indigenous Peoples.

Gus Among advocates for forest preservation by becoming a forest observer. In addition, he also develops sustainable farming methods in East Kalimantan.

Gus Among took part in contributing to the recognition of Lumut Mountain as an Indigenous Region. As a result, the area was freed from the concession of industrialized farming and mining.
