Ery Damayanti is a member of Kaoem Telapak from Kota Wisata, West Java and a former Vice President of Kaoem Telapak from 2016 to 2021. She has been conducting expeditions for nature observation since high school, which then shaped her talent and passion as a nature researcher as she grew up.

With her working experience at Global Enviroment Facility Small Grant Programme (GEF-SGP) in 1993 and her Anthropology Magistrate degree, Ery is frequently conducting researches about the local community’s culture on the beachside. She always implements a core value in every research she does: To understand the culture and daily life of the local community constantly.

By understanding the local community’s life cycle, Ery belives that it can produce the right intervention movement that may support the people.
