Kemping Raya 2021: A Contemplation of Kaoem Telapak for the New Leadership

Kemping Raya Kaoem Telapak is a momentum for Kaoem Telapak members to meet every two years. In 2021 Kaoem Telapak held its third camp. The implementation of this Third Kemp Raya took place virtually or online through Zoom Meeting due to the Covid 19 Pandemic situation. This year 2021 also marks the end of the management of the Kaoem Telapak organization for the 2016-2021 period.

Kaoem Telapak currently has 121 members, almost 5 years since the First Kemping Raya as well as the birth of Kaoem Telapak which was held in May 2016 in Sarongge, West Java. However, in 2020, Kemping Raya could not be held because since March 2020 Indonesia has been declared a Covid-19 Pandemic.

Seeing this prolonged pandemic condition, it was decided by the Management, Guardians and Assembly of Kaoem Telapak to hold the third Kemping Raya online on February 26-28, 2021.

It is hoped that the 2021 Kemping Raya can produce, among others:

The election of the Kaoem Telapak Management for the 2021-2025 period

Zainuri Hasyim, President of Kaoem Telapak, said that Kemping Raya is a traditional gathering held every two years for the organization’s members. He noted that this third Kemping Raya is a momentum to strengthen their purpose, reflect, and plan the future direction of the organization.

“The COVID-19 pandemic, which requires all Kaoem Telapak members to camp from their own homes, will not reduce the spirit and joy of this Kemping Raya,” he expressed.

He hopes that the 2021 Kaoem Telapak Kemping Raya can result in an agreement for the organization’s future development.

“Hopefully, this Kemping Raya will produce an agreement on how to grow the organization in the future, even though it is being held by camping from our respective homes,” he concluded.
